Spring into Success with Supplier Network Spring Series
Join our Supplier Network program and gain insight from leading companies’ procurement officers into the purchasing process and how to effectively market your company, locate requests for proposals (RFPs), and vie for contracts. The Supplier Network four-session spring series will kick off on Wednesday, March 17, 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Chamber, located in Center City. Three additional half-day sessions will follow.
The Supplier Network series connects small to mid-size business owners and executives with the region’s foremost procurement officers. By enhancing their marketability and developing their business strategies, Supplier Network businesses bolster their qualifications to compete for contracts. The series is seeing tangible results as more and more small companies — including woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned — are gaining direct business connections to procurement executives and learning the secrets of securing contracts with large regional companies and government agencies.
Since the program’s launch in 2005, more than 300 companies have been trained and designated as SN members, providing them with unique access to dozens of supporting organizations, and a competitive edge in dealing with procurement officers at any organization.
To become an SN member, vendor companies must be a Chamber member, have been in operation for at least three years, and successfully complete the entire training series. There is a one-time fee of $250 which includes the series training, ongoing exclusive networking events, and advanced educational workshops for as long as you are a Chamber member.
The additional half-day sessions will occur on March 24, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; March 31, 8:00 – 12:30 p.m.; and April 7, 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
